Careers programmes, CPD and apprenticeships often sit outside the LMS. There, Potentially runs standalone and connects to your identity provider over SAML 2.0, so your directory stays the authority on who signs in.
Entra ID, Shibboleth, ADFS, Okta, Google Workspace.
Anything that speaks SAML 2.0, including resolution through the UK Access Management Federation. Your existing sign-in policy applies, multi-factor included, and passwords stay with your provider.
Roles and groups assign themselves.
Staff and students are recognised from the attributes your directory already releases, and land in the right role and groups on first sign-in. Close an account with you and it closes here too.

SCORM content
Courses built in Storyline, Rise, Captivate and similar tools upload as the packages you already have — SCORM 1.2 and 2004. Progress, scores and completion feed the same tracking as native content.
Open Badge Factory
Badges you already manage in OBF are issued directly from Potentially activities and courses — no duplicated artwork, no second badge library.
Qualtrics
Survey feedback — satisfaction, NPS, course ratings — is read into Potentially analytics automatically, alongside your programme and course metrics.
Calendars
Events and deadlines sync to Google and Outlook calendars, or export as ICS for anything else. Potentially adds its own events and leaves the rest of the calendar alone.
Open standards
Open Badges for credentials, LTI 1.3 Advantage for the LMS, SAML 2.0 for identity — so evidence is not stranded in one institution’s system.
